Le Raincy Exhibition – “Crossed Gazes: My City, My Heritage: Hidden Heritage”

As part of the twinning with the French city of Le Raincy, the Municipality of Caldas da Rainha will host the photography exhibition “Crossed Eyes: My City, My Heritage: Hidden Heritage”, in the atrium of the Municipal Hall, from September 2nd to September 30th.

This exhibition is the result of the annual Le Raincy photography competition, which every year takes the form of a cultural and artistic initiative dedicated to strengthening ties of friendship with its twin cities, namely Caldas da Rainha, Clusone (Italy) and Finchley (England).

In this 7th edition, participants were invited to capture the environments and lesser-known details of their cities, in order to contribute to the knowledge of the common heritage and to the discovery of new elements of their partners’ heritage.

The three recognized Caldas photographs are the work of Nuno Conceição, first prize, Aníbal Parreira, second prize, and Carlos Paiva, third prize.
